About Me.
Hi, I'm Becky
I am a 23-year-old, self-taught photographer based in Dumfries and Galloway, South-West Scotland. I have been passionate about photography since I got my first phone in my early teens. My interest continued to grow as I got older, so I got my first professional camera in 2019 and in 2020 I decided to start a social media page called 'Captured in Scotland' where I shared my photos of the local area. Ultimately, my passion lies within nature, and I love capturing raw beauty - whether it is a wild stag in the Scottish hills or a newly engaged couple celebrating their special moment.
Fun Facts about me

I am a qualified Early Years Practitioner and have worked with a crazy but lovable mixture of 3-5-year-olds over the past 3 years.

I have achieved a master's degree in Primary Educational Studies through the University of Glasgow.

I can play the piano at ABRSM Grade 7.

I enjoy walking and exploring new places off the beaten track.

My favourite colour is yellow, my favourite animal is pigs and I love country music!
What do I offer?
I'm here for the furry friends, the magical moments and the regular reminiscers! I focus on capturing natural and authentic photos surrounded by the beautiful scenery that Scotland has to offer. I am based in Dumfries and Galloway and generally, my sessions all take place within this area, however, I am willing to travel further if needed. At the moment, I am only offering weekend sessions. My photo sessions are relaxed and informal and usually include a bit of an adventure to find the perfect spot. Currently, I offer 2 types of sessions: Lifestyle and Dogs.
